The Fremont River Ranger District, Fishlake National Forest plans to implement a prescribed fire in the Clear Creek Drainage Area in Wayne County. Last Chance Porcupine Prescribed Fire Project starts May 17. The project will compromise two units in the Last Chance area and three units in the West Tidwell, Porcupine, and other adjoining areas all part of an ongoing project expected to last the next five to six years.
