CEDAR CITY, Utah-Austin Park homered and the Juab Wasps routed Canyon View 13-4 Thursday in Region 12 baseball play. Kai Hansen drove in three runs for the Wasps in victory. Connor Cowan, Kanyon Mattinson and Jimmy Larson drove in a run apiece for the Wasps in the win. Mattinson posted three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Juab.
2A East
SALINA, Utah-Parker Jensen and Koy Wadsen drove in three runs apiece and the North Sevier Wolves pounded Gunnison Valley 15-0 in 2A East baseball play Thursday. Mace Sorenson, Braygen Maxwell and Hunter Lund drove in two runs apiece in the rout for the Wolves. James Crowley added another RBI in victory for North Sevier. Jensen posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wolves.

BICKNELL, Utah-Kayla Jones homered and the Wayne Badgers downed Piute 14-6 Thursday in 2A East softball play. Lilly Morrill drove in three more runs in victory for the Badgers. Rhylie VanDyke and Lexi Snedegar drove in two more runs apiece in the win for Wayne. Maddie Jacobson and Cassie Rees drove in another run apiece in the win for the Badgers. Rylan Taylor posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Wayne. Alayna Severe, Kamren Gayler, Ainsley Talbot and Riyo Winckel drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks swept Judge 3-0 in 3A South boys volleyball play Thursday. the Hawks bested the Bulldogs 25-7, 25-10, 25-18 to prevail in straight sets.
