EPHRAIM, Utah-Andrea Sweat and Hallie Young each homered twice and Tasia Shibuya also went yard as the Snow Badgers clobbered Southern Nevada 12-1 Friday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader. Kenley Henson posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Katelyn Hunter homered in defeat for the Coyotes.

EPHRAIM, Utah-Kamryn Allen homered twice and Andrea Sweat and Hallie Young added home runs as the Snow Badgers completed a SWAC softball doubleheader sweep of Southern Nevada with a 10-5 win over the Coyotes Friday. Sweat added a strikeout in 1.3 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Shelbie Hoyt and Mayelli Elicerio homered in defeat for the Coyotes.

Following Friday’s results, the Badgers improved to 27-15 and 16-9 in SWAC play while the Coyotes fell to 10-25 and 5-18 in conference play.

The squads meet again Saturday at Ephraim for a doubleheader. Opening pitch for the first game is slated for noon.
