Region 12

PRICE, Utah-Logan Madrigal drove in a pair of runs and the Carbon Dinos outlasted the Manti Templars 5-4 in Region 12 baseball play Friday. Braxton Henningson, Lane Cox, Reggie Frischknecht and Kayson Bailey each drove in a run in the loss for the Templars.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jake Thomas and Brady Anderson drove in three runs apiece and the Canyon View Falcons pounded Delta 14-1 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Roper Crane drove in a run in defeat for the Rabbits.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Wade Stilson, Tyce Larsen, Turner Stoker and Trygg Jensen drove in two runs apiece and the Emery Spartans dismantled North Sanpete 11-2 in Region 12 baseball play Friday. Hayden Abrams netted three strikeouts in four innings of work in the win for Emery. Bryson Perry drove in a run in defeat for the Hawks.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Connor Cowan homered twice and Garrett Hofer and Derek Jennings also went yard as the Juab Wasps  hammered Richfield 19-4 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Austin Park drove in three runs and Kanyon Mattinson and Luke Marostica each drove in an additional run apiece in the win for Juab. Malik Fautin homered in the loss for the Wildcats. Slate Reitz and Beck Giblette each added another RBI in defeat for Richfield.

2A West

MONROE, Utah-Davin Orton drove in a run and the Beaver Beavers doubled up South Sevier 2-1 in 2A West baseball play Friday. Bodie Wheatley posted four strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers. Peyton Ingram had an RBI in the loss for the Rams.

FILLMORE, Utah-Zach Higgins drove in five runs and the Millard Eagles clobbered Water Canyon 11-0 Friday in 2A West baseball play. Jackson Powell added four more RBI in victory for Millard and Sam Rasmussen and Bodie Memmott each drove in another run in the win for the Eagles. Hunter Stott netted 6 strikeouts in 5 innings of work for the Eagles.

KANAB, Utah-Griffen Bone and Kash Kabonic each drove in a run and the Kanab Cowboys overpowered Parowan 3-1 in 2A West baseball play Friday. Bone recorded 15 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Kanab. Lucas Williamson drove in a run in the loss for the Rams.

MILFORD, Utah-Parker Staheli homered and the Enterprise Wolves edged Milford 4-3 Friday in 2A West baseball play. Staheli recorded five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wolves. Sadler Barnes, Boston Sullivan and Kilo Tsosie drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Tigers.

2A East

MOAB, Utah-Tatym Bisco homered and the Grand Red Devils pummeled North Sevier 11-1 in 2A East baseball play Friday. Jaxon Carroll posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Red Devils.

GUNNISON, Utah-Cooper Ball, Braxton Pickett, Kylan Crouch and Dillon Dyreng drove in a run apiece and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed North Summit 10-0 Friday in 2A East baseball play. Pickett recorded a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts in 6 innings of work for the Bulldogs.

Softball

Region 12

MANTI, Utah-Rylee Miller homered and the Manti Templars dismantled Juab 14-3 Friday in Region 12 softball play. Hannah Daniels drove in three runs in victory for Manti and Carlie Thompson added 2 more RBI in the win for the Templars. Cecily Alder, Mara Thompson and Aidali Orozco all added another RBI apiece for Manti in victory. Orozco posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Templars. Tylie Greenhalgh, Roudee Weaver and Bailee Benson each drove in a run in defeat for the Wasps.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Kali Jensen, Shannon Johnson, Katelyn Nielson, Kallee Lake, Tailynn Minchey and Alexis Ungerman each drove in a run and the Emery Spartans blanked Richfield 10-0 Friday in Region 12 softball play.

DELTA, Utah-Maylee Spencer drove in three runs and the Canyon View Falcons pounded Delta 16-1 in Region 12 softball play Friday. Elli John posted 6 strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Falcons. Jaylie Taylor drove in a run in defeat for the Rabbits.

2A South

MILFORD, Utah-Trystin Jolley drove in three runs and the Enterprise Wolves decimated Milford 17-2 Friday in 2A South softball play. Blakelee Christiansen netted a strikeout in 2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolves. Miley Willden had an RBI in the loss for the Tigers.

MONROE, Utah-Aly Moore drove in two runs and the South Sevier Rams waxed Beaver 6-2 in 2A South softball play Friday. Caitlin Nielson, Kloe Donohue, Halle McKinlay and Kinley Phelps also drove in an additional run apiece for the Rams in the win. Donohue posted 10 strikeouts in 7 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for South Sevier. Lyndsie Pender drove in a run for the Beavers in defeat.

2A Central

SALINA, Utah-Prezley Farnsworth homered and the Duchesne Eagles shellacked North Sevier 18-2 Friday in 2A Central softball play. Paisley Roberts drove in a run for the Wolves in the loss.

MOAB, Utah-Dani Hirschfeld, Zoey Wilson, Taylyn McCurdy and Dalaney Davis drove in a run apiece and the Grand Red Devils smacked Piute 11-1 in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader Friday. Hope Shumway posted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Red Devils. Janey James had an RBI in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

MOAB, Utah-Hope Shumway and Alandra Morquecho each drove in a run and the Grand Red Devils overpowered Piute 11-1 Friday to conclude a 2A Central softball doubleheader sweep of the Thunderbirds. Kaycee Gleave drove in a run for the Thunderbirds in defeat.

GUNNISON, Utah-Kirstin Bartholomew and Maddie Pratt drove in two runs apiece and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs waxed San Juan 11-7 in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader Friday. Robyn Christiansen, Maile Ha’o, Shae King and Rylee Bartholomew each added another RBI apiece for the Bulldogs in victory. Elise Dalley and Synessa Atcitty drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Broncos.

GUNNISON, Utah-Madden Perkins drove in five runs and the San Juan Broncos secured a 2A Central softball doubleheader split with a 17-5 win over Gunnison Valley Friday. Shae King drove in two runs and Rylee Bartholomew added another RBI in the loss for the Bulldogs.

Boys Soccer

Region 12

MANTI, Utah-Kyle Steinfeldt, Luis Ornelas and Luke Summer scored two goals apiece and the Manti Templars pummeled North Sanpete 7-1 in Region 12 boys soccer play Friday. Tomas Reyes also scored in the rout for Manti.

PRICE, Utah-Case Griffeth recorded a hat trick and the Carbon Dinos pounded Richfield 10-2 Friday in Region 12 boys soccer play. Parker Graham scored both goals in the loss for the Wildcats.

NEPHI, Utah-Nixon Curtis posted a hat trick and the Juab Wasps routed Emery 6-1 in Region 12 boys soccer play Friday. Bridger Richards, Jaciel Palmeros and Russ Allred also scored in the win for the Wasps.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Delta Rabbits outlasted Canyon View 6-4 on penalty kicks in extra time Friday in Region 12 boys soccer play. Tyce Gilgen scored in regulation time for the Rabbits.

2A South

GUNNISON, Utah-The Grand Red Devils doubled up Gunnison Valley 4-2 in 2A South boys soccer play Friday. Pearson Judy scored twice in defeat for the Bulldogs.
