RICHFIELD, Utah-Adri Abeyta homered and the Carbon Dinos clobbered Richfield 13-0 Thursday in Region 12 softball play. Danica Adams netted 12 strikeouts in 7 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dinos.
2A South
PAROWAN, Utah-Layni Williams drove in three runs and the Parowan Rams doubled up Beaver 4-2 in 2A South softball play Thursday. Cale Renzello added another RBI in victory for Parowan. Madison Adams recorded 15 strikeouts in 7 innings of work to earn the win for the Rams in the circle. Lyndsie Pender had an RBI in the loss for the Beavers.
MONROE, Utah-Kinsey Parsons homered and the South Sevier Rams pounded Panguitch 12-2 Thursday in 2A South softball play. Tessa Woolsey drove in two more runs in the win for South Sevier, while Caitlin Nielson, Aly Moore and Ashton Miller drove in another RBI apiece for the Rams in victory. Kaitlyn Lynch posted five strikeouts in six innings of work for South Sevier to earn the win in the circle. Kadee Harland and Kenli Hatch drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bobcats.
2A Central
SALINA, Utah-Saige Jensen belted a grand slam and the North Sevier Wolves smacked Piute 18-10 in 2A Central softball play Thursday. Kaitlyn Brown and Sydney Bosh drove in two more runs apiece in the win for the Wolves. Addie Quarnberg and Paisley Roberts added an additional RBI each in victory for North Sevier. Chloe Malmgren netted five strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolves. Kamryn Gayler drove in two runs for the Thunderbirds in the loss. Riyo Winckel and Janey James each added another RBI apiece in defeat for Piute.

BEAVER, Utah-The Beaver Beavers outlasted Millard 2 (7) -2 (4) in extra time Thursday in 2A South boys soccer play. Cesar Vargas scored during regular time for the Beavers.
MONROE, Utah-Zack Overly, Wyatt Monroe and Pearson Judy each scored and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs blanked South Sevier 3-0 in 2A South boys soccer play Thursday.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks blanked Carbon 3-0 in 3A South boys volleyball play Thursday. The Hawks prevailed 25-21, 25-19, 25-9 to obtain the straight sets victory over the Dinos.
