Region 12

MANTI, Utah-Reggie Frischknecht homered and the Manti Templars outlasted Carbon 11-8 Tuesday in Region 12 baseball play. Braxton Henningson and Lane Cox drove in two runs apiece for Manti in victory while Jaden Barton and Britton Keisel recorded an additional RBI each for the Templars. Henningson earned the win on the mound for Manti, posting 9 strikeouts in six innings of work.

DELTA, Utah-Zach Maine and Jake Thomas drove in two runs apiece and the Canyon View Falcons blanked Delta 10-0 in Region 12 baseball play Tuesday.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Hayden Abrams homered and the Emery Spartans doubled up North Sanpete 8-4 Tuesday in Region 12 baseball play. Turner Stoker recorded six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Spartans. Bryson Perry, Andy Bailey and Aaron Costello each drove in a run in the loss for the Hawks.

NEPHI, Utah-Austin Park drove in five runs and the Juab Wasps overpowered Richfield 10-0 in Region 12 baseball play Tuesday. Connor Cowan drove in two more runs for the Wasps and Kanyon Mattinson and Jimmy Larson recorded an additional RBI apiece in the win for Juab. Park posted 11 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps.

2A West

BEAVER, Utah-Deegan Bailey drove in the sole run of the game and the Beaver Beavers blanked South Sevier 1-0 Tuesday in 2A West baseball play. Bailey posted 14 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers.

HILDALE, Utah-Hunter Stott and Zach Higgins each homered and the Millard Eagles pulverized Water Canyon 27-1 in 2A West baseball play Tuesday. Sam Rasmussen drove in six runs for the Eagles and Rayce Adams and Ben Adams added 3 additional RBI apiece for Millard in victory. Troy Kesler drove in another run in victory for the Eagles. Kamdyn Frampton posted four strikeouts in five innings of work for Millard.

PAROWAN, Utah-Lane Sims drove in four runs and the Kanab Cowboys clobbered Parowan 20-2 Tuesday in 2A West baseball play. Kale Glover and Logan Veater added 3 RBI apiece in victory for the Cowboys. Maddix Baird and Jaxon Riddle drove in two more runs apiece in the win for Kanab and Ryan East, Griffen Bone and Kash Kabonic added an additional RBI each in victory for the Cowboys. Veater posted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Kanab.

2A East

SALINA, Utah-JT Dowd and Caden Swasey drove in three runs apiece and the Grand Red Devils pounded North Sevier 17-1 Tuesday in 2A East baseball play. Brayden Althoff posted four strikeouts in two innings of work to secure the win on the mound for the Red Devils. McKay Foote drove in a run in the loss for the Wolves.

COALVILLE, Utah-Braxton Pickett homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs bested North Summit 10-7 in 2A East baseball play Tuesday. Cooper Ball and TaLund Zufelt drove in another run apiece in victory for the Bulldogs. Daxton Knudsen posted six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs. Braxton Lefler drove in two runs in the loss for the Braves.

Softball

Region 12

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Maylee Spencer and Saige Hancock drove in a run apiece and the Canyon View Falcons doubled up North Sanpete 2-1 in Region 12 softball play Tuesday. Dally Bailey had an RBI in the loss for the Hawks.

MANTI, Utah-Mara Thompson and Andilyn Anderson drove in two runs apiece and the Manti Templars hammered Delta 18-3 Tuesday in Region 12 softball play. Cecily Alder, Danielle Alder, Chloe Olson, Carlie Thompson and Raubie Johnson drove in an additional run apiece in victory for Manti. Joslyn Christiansen had 2 RBI and Dally Bundy drove in another run in the loss for the Rabbits.

2A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Madison Adams homered twice and Layni Williams also went yard as the Parowan Rams pounded Kanab 11-0 in 2A South softball play Tuesday. Adams posted 11 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Parowan.

ENTERPRISE, Utah-Brook Humphries homered and the Enterprise Wolves smacked Milford 12-1 Tuesday in 2A South softball play. Blakelee Christiansen posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Enterprise.

BEAVER, Utah-Lexy Atkin drove in two runs and the Beaver Beavers downed South Sevier 10-8 in 2A South softball play Tuesday. Lyndsie Pender and Tylee Marshall drove in an additional run apiece in victory for Beaver. Brindee Carter earned the win in the circle for the Beavers. Caitlin Nielson, Kinsey Parsons, Kloe Donohue, Tessa Woolsey and Ashton Miller had an RBI apiece in the loss for the Rams.

HILDALE, Utah-Kadi Dearden, Savanah Turner and Maren Davies each homered and the Millard Eagles decimated Water Canyon 27-4 Tuesday in 2A South softball play. Gracie Stephenson drove in three runs for Millard, while Macie Wade and Brooklin Reid added 2 more RBI apiece in victory for the Eagles. Halle Warner, Shayda Carter and Kyla Hickman also drove in an additional run apiece in the win for Millard. Jaklyn Dutson drove in a run for the Wildcats in defeat.

2A Central

JUNCTION, Utah-Maggie Bartholomew homered twice and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs smacked Piute 23-7 in 2A Central softball play Tuesday. Maile Ha’o drove in four runs for the Bulldogs in the win and Atley Coates and Maddie Pratt drove in three runs apiece for Gunnison Valley in victory. Khora Marker drove in two runs and Shae King added another RBI apiece in victory for the Bulldogs. Kamryn Gayler drove in three runs for Piute in the loss while Riyo Winckel drove in two runs and Ainsley Talbot and Kaycee Gleave added another RBI apiece for the Thunderbirds in defeat.

SALINA, Utah-Oaklee Brian homered and the Wayne Badgers outgunned North Sevier 20-18 Tuesday in 2A Central softball play. Kayla Jones, Rhylie VanDyke and Lexie Snedegar drove in two more runs apiece in victory for the Badgers. Maddie Jacobson, Rylan Taylor and Cassie Rees added an additional RBI each in the win for Wayne. Saige Jensen homered twice in defeat for North Sevier. Kaityln Brown drove in two runs for the Wolves, while Addie Quarnberg, Brooklyn Mickelsen and Reagan Hone added another additional RBI each in the loss for North Sevier.

Non-Region

PANGUITCH, Utah-Kenli Hatch drove in three runs and Lillee Torgerson, Kadee Harland and Jocelyn Certonio drove in an additional run apiece for the Bobcats in victory. Olivia Jessop added an additional RBI for Panguitch in the win. Danni Waters and Naveya Estrada had an RBI apiece in the loss for the Lynx.

Soccer

2A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Travis Whitaker scored and the Millard Eagles blanked Parowan 1-0 Tuesday in 2A South boys soccer play. Blake Shumway earned the shutout for Millard.

MONROE, Utah-Mace Robinson and Anthony Juarez each scored twice and the Beaver Beavers routed South Sevier 6-1 in 2A South boys soccer play Tuesday. Deagen Horner and Lucas Guedes also found the net in victory for the Beavers. Peyton Gibson scored in the loss for the Rams.
