TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Markessa Jensen homered and the No. 15 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles downed Snow 10-6 Saturday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader. Abby Hayes posted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Golden Eagles. Hadlee Walker, Ayden Fitch, Hailey Mangum and Hallie Young homered in the loss for the Badgers.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Tasia Shibuya, Kamryn Allen, Ayden Fitch, Hallie Young and Reata O’Neal each homered and Snow upset No. 15 Southern Idaho 14-10 Saturday, securing a split in the Saturday SWAC softball doubleheader. Andrea Sweat posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Tasha Hokanson homered in defeat for the Golden Eagles.

Following Saturday’s results, Snow improved to 19-10 and 8-4 in SWAC play. Southern Idaho fell to 18-8 and 9-3 in SWAC competition.

The Badgers return to action Friday and Saturday by visiting Salt Lake Community College for a four-game series.
