TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Tessa Hokanson homered and the No. 15 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles doubled up Snow 4-2 Friday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader. Abby Hayes posted three strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Golden Eagles. Tasia Shibuya and Hallie Young each had an RBI in the loss for the Badgers.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Courtney Christiansen homered and the No. 15 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles completed a doubleheader sweep of Snow with a 5-3 win over the Badgers in SWAC softball play Friday. Eva Stoddard earned the win in the circle to improve to 6-1 on the season for the Golden Eagles. Ayden Fitch, Brenley Boydston and Dailee Maughan each drove in a run for the Badgers in the loss.

Following Friday’s results, Southern Idaho improved to 17-7 and 8-2 in SWAC play while the Badgers fell to 18-9 and 7-3 in SWAC play. The squads meet again Saturday for another doubleheader.
