MILFORD, Utah-Bodie Wheatley, Kutlur Matheson, Brayden Evans and Davin Orton drove in two runs apiece and the Beaver Beavers overpowered Milford 12-5 in the first game of a 2A West baseball doubleheader Thursday. Deegan Bailey, Deegan Blackner and Raider Blomquist all drove in an additional run apiece for Beaver. Wheatley posted five strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers. Griffin Walker drove in two runs and Taylor Dotson and Toby LaOrange drove in additional RBI apiece in the loss for the Tigers.
MILFORD, Utah-Davin Orton recorded the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the 7th Inning and the Beaver Beavers outlasted Milford 6-5 Thursday, completing a 2A West baseball doubleheader sweep of the Tigers. Bodie Wheatley and Davis Carter had 2 RBI apiece in the win for the Beavers. Raider Blomquist drove in another run in victory for Beaver. Tyge Blomquist netted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Beavers. Taylor Dotson drove in two runs for the Tigers and Judd Netto added another RBI in the loss for Milford.
Non-Region
PROVO, Utah-Will Cannon and Elliot Myers drove in three runs apiece and the Timpview Thunderbirds routed North Sanpete 16-5 Thursday in non-region baseball play. Breken Davis posted four strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Thunderbirds. Preston Madsen drove in three runs and Bryce Swapp and Aaron Costello each drove in another run in defeat for the Hawks.

2A South
MONROE, Utah-Kinsey Parsons homered and the South Sevier Rams pummeled Millard 11-1 Thursday in 2A South softball play. Aly Moore drove in two more runs for South Sevier while Tessa Woolsey, Kloe Donohue and Kaitlyn Lynch added an additional RBI apiece in victory for the Rams. Lynch posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for South Sevier.
Non-Region
GUNNISON, Utah-Cambree Cooper homered and the Class 4A Logan Grizzlies hammered Gunnison Valley 17-2 in non-region softball play Thursday. Cooper also earned the win in the circle for the Grizzlies. Maile Ha’o drove in a run in the loss for the Bulldogs.
BEAVER, Utah-Emma Broadbent, Adri Fitzgerald and Alliyah Aste each drove in three runs and the South Summit Wildcats bested Beaver 16-9 Thursday in non-region softball play. Toshlyn Louder recorded nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for South Summit. Jaide McMullin, Lily Wright and Chalyn Beaumont had an RBI apiece in the loss for the Beavers.

2A South
BEAVER, Utah-Mace Robinson and Kelton Langston each scored and the Beaver Beavers doubled up South Sevier 2-1 Thursday in 2A South boys soccer play. Joey Elison found the net in defeat for the Rams.
GUNNISON, Utah-Tyson Tucker posted a hat trick and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs blanked Millard 5-0 in 2A South boys soccer play Thursday. Noe Rodriguez and Pearson Judy also scored in victory for the Bulldogs. Edrik Salas earned the shutout for Gunnison Valley in the net.
