RICHFIELD, Utah-Miles Barnett posted 15 points and 5 rebounds on 6-12 from the field and the No. 5 Richfield Wildcats downed No. 4 Manti 62-52 in the 3A quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center Thursday. Reggie Frisckhnecht’s 17 points and 9 rebounds on 7-12 from the field led the Templars in defeat. Richfield next faces No. 1 South Summit in the state semifinals Friday at 7:30 pm. Manti plays No. 9 American Heritage Friday at 12:50 pm in the consolation bracket.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Aayden Saucedo posted 21 points and 7 rebounds on 4-7 from the field and the No. 10 Judge Bulldogs upset No. 2 Emery 69-63 Thursday in the state quarterfinals. Luke Justice posted 22 points on 9-17 from the field for the Spartans in the loss. Judge next faces No. 3 Ogden Friday at 9:10 pm in the state quarterfinals.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Trevor Richins netted 24 points and 8 rebounds and the No. 5 North Summit Braves downed No. 4 South Sevier 66-63 Thursday in the 2A state quarterfinals at the America First Event Center. Brace Brindley’s 15 points led the Rams in the loss. North Summit next faces No. 1 Kanab Friday at 7:30 pm in the state semifinals at the America First Event Center.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Cash Mortensen, Trey Castagno and Kyle Brown had 10 points apiece and the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys edged Grand 59-58 in the 2A state quarterfinals at the America First Event Center Thursday. Jason McKinney had 21 points in the loss for the Red Devils.

Dallin Porter had a game-high 21 points in the loss for the Duchesne Eagles. APA West Valley next faces No. 3 Enterprise Friday at 9:10 pm in the state semifinals at the America First Event Center.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Dax Hunt and Brady Crouch had 20 points apiece and the No. 3 Enterprise Wolves overpowered No. 6 Rockwell 80-60 Thursday at the America First Event Center in the 2A state quarterfinals. Roman Haueter had 18 points in defeat for the Marshals.

Ava Cuff’s 11 points led the Wasps in the loss. Carbon next faces No. 2 Richfield Friday at 4:10 pm in the state semifinals. Juab will play Canyon View in the consolation bracket Friday at 9:30 am at the Sevier Valley Center.

Sierra Johnson had 9 points on 3-6 from the field in the loss for the Bears. The Lady Cowboys next face No. 5 Emery Friday at 5:50 pm in the state semifinals.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Hartlynn Richins stepped up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the No. 1 North Summit Braves blitzed No. 8 Intermountain Christian 68-44 in the 2A state quarterfinals Thursday at the America First Event Center. Makenna Stoddard led the Lions in defeat with 17 points. The Braves next face No. 4 Beaver in the state semifinals at the America First Event Center Friday at 4:10 pm.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Danzee Bradshaw netted 15 points and the No. 4 Beaver Beavers downed No. 5 South Sevier 44-37 at the America First Event Center Thursday in the 2A state quarterfinals. Kinley Jenson had 11 points in the loss for the Rams.
