Utah State Men’s Basketball’s Great Osobor Named To Karl Malone Award Watch List

LOGAN, Utah-Thursday, Utah State men’s basketball junior wing Great Osobor was named as one of 10 candidates nationwide for the 2024 Karl Malone Award per an announcement by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Osobor is averaging 19.1 points and 9.6 rebounds per game and shooting 59 percent this season for the Aggies.

Other candidates include

San Diego State senior shooting guard Jaedon LeDee (20.5 points, 8.6 rebounds per game)

Akron senior forward Enrique Freeman (18.5 points, 12.8 rebounds per game)

Arizona senior small forward Keshad Johnson (11.8 points, 6.3 rebounds per game)

Dayton junior power forward DaRon Holmes II (19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds per game)

Duke sophomore center Kyle Filipowski (17.5 points, 8.7 rebounds per game)

Gonzaga junior forward Graham Ike (15.5 points, 7 rebounds per game)

Marquette junior forward Oso Ighodaro (14.6 points, 7.1 rebounds per game)

Miami (Fla.) senior forward Norchad Omier (18.1 points, 9.9 rebounds per game)

Connecticut sophomore forward Alex Karaban (14.5 points, 5.8 rebounds per game)
