Avalanche Warning For Mountains Throughout Utah

(St. George, UT) — Mountains throughout Utah are under an avalanche warning following major snowfall. The National Weather Service sent out the advisory for mountains in southwestern Utah, along with the Uinta Mountains and the Wasatch Front. It comes after Brian Head Lodge near Cedar City got about eight inches of snow over the last couple of days, while Alta Ski Resort got a whopping 43 inches during the same time. The advisory is set to expire at six this morning.
