TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Jaylon Johnson posted 22 points and 6 rebounds on 6-12 from the field and 4-7 from range as the Southern Idaho Golden Eagles upset No. 10 Snow 85-71 Saturday in SWAC men’s basketball play. The Golden Eagles shot 53 percent (29-55) from the field for the game in improving to 13-5 and 2-0 in SWAC play. Colin Christensen’s 17 points and 6 rebounds led the Badgers in the loss as they fell to 16-2 and 1-2 in SWAC play.

The Badgers return to action Thursday by hosting Southern Nevada in SWAC play.

Women’s Basketball

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Jamisyn Heaton stepped up with 15 points and the No. 17 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles decimated Snow 91-49 in SWAC women’s basketball play Saturday. Emily Evans had 8 points in the loss for the Badgers. In victory, CSI improved to 17-4 and 1-1 in SWAC play. Following Saturday’s results, the Badgers fell to 11-7 and 1-1 in SWAC play. Snow returns to action Thursday by hosting Southern Nevada.
