TROPIC, Utah-Zaren Roberts led the way with 28 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs pounded Escalante 84-59 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Jaken Cottam led the Moquis with 20 points in defeat.

JUNCTION, Utah-Jaxon Westwood posted 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds routed Mount Vernon 86-45 in non-region boys basketball play Thursday. Hansen Chen’s game-high 21 points led the Patriots in defeat.

NEPHI, Utah-Kamryn Knutson netted 15 points and the Richfield Wildcats got past Juab 48-42 at the Pit in Region 12 girls basketball play Thursday. Addison Hyatt had 13 points in defeat for the Wasps.
DELTA, Utah-Maylee Spencer led the way with 13 points and the Canyon View Falcons humbled Delta 54-46 Thursday at the Palladium in Region 12 girls basketball play. Ebondy Dodoo’s game-high 14 points paced the Rabbits in defeat.
MANTI, Utah-June Olsen stepped up with 17 points and the Manti Templars surged past North Sanpete 59-49 in Region 12 girls basketball play Thursday. Jessica Applegarth led the Hawks in defeat with a game-high 18 points.

BEAVER, Utah-Alina Lurth and Gentry Brown had 10 points apiece and the Beaver Beavers overpowered South Sevier 41-33 in Region 18 girls basketball play Thursday. Sydnee Patterson led the Rams in the loss with 10 points.
