Region 12
DELTA, Utah-Cai Henderson posted 24 points and 11 rebounds and the Delta Rabbits overpowered North Sanpete 62-56 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play at the Palladium. Dimick Huntington’s 16 points led the Hawks in the loss.
The win improved Delta to 4-8 and 1-3 in Region 12 play while the Hawks stumbled to 6-6 and 2-2 in Region 12 play.
The Rabbits return to action Wednesday by visiting Juab in a Region 12 tilt while the Hawks return home to face Richfield Wednesday in another Region 12 contest.
NEPHI, Utah-Carson Miles netted 18 points and the Canyon View Falcons smacked Juab 57-36 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Braxton Hooper’s 16 points led the Wasps in defeat.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Jessen Barton recorded 20 points and the Manti Templars surged past Emery 77-67 in overtime in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Luke Justice’s game-high 23 points led the Spartans in the loss.
PRICE, Utah-Gage Yardley posted 11 points and the Richfield Wildcats stonewalled Carbon 53-32 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Ryker Butler led the Dinos with a game-high 14 points in defeat.
Region 15
GUNNISON, Utah-Zach Overly netted 22 points and the Grand Red Devils edged Gunnison Valley 67-64 Friday in Region 15 boys basketball play. Wyatt Toney led the Red Devils in defeat with 22 points.
SALINA, Utah-Anthony Done netted 20 points and the San Juan Broncos humbled North Sevier 56-46 in Region 15 boys basketball play Friday. Greyson Bennett led the Wolves with 19 points in the loss.
Region 18
MONROE, Utah-Dax Hunt and Brady Crouch had 16 points apiece and the Enterprise Wolves humbled South Sevier 65-59 in Region 18 boys basketball play Friday. Stockton Roberts had a game-high 18 points in the loss for the Rams.
BEAVER, Utah-Cash Mortensen led the way with 20 points and the Kanab Cowboys drilled Beaver 60-47 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Deegan Blackner had a game-high 22 points in the loss for the Beavers.
Non-Region
PANGUITCH, Utah-Cache Eyre’s 20 points and 9 rebounds led the way and the Panguitch Bobcats routed Parowan 87-42 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Hunter Bettridge led the Rams in defeat with 12 points.
JUNCTION, Utah-Jaxon Westwood netted 25 points and the Piute Thunderbirds pounded Millard 73-39 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Derk Memmott led the Eagles in defeat with 13 points.
Girls Basketball
Region 15
BLANDING, Utah-Brooklin Goble posted 13 points and the North Sevier Wolves smacked San Juan 40-27 Friday in Region 15 girls basketball play. Kaidence Mitchell and C’ona Dandy had 5 points apiece in the loss for the Broncos.
MOAB, Utah-Trinity Bryant led the way with 17 points and the Grand Red Devils got past Gunnison Valley 55-50 in Region 15 girls basketball play Friday. Linsi Hansen and Autumn Anderson had 12 points apiece in the loss for the Bulldogs.
