Jonah Elliss Named Finalist For Ted Hendricks Award Monday

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.-Monday, Utah junior defensive end Jonah Elliss was named as a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award. He is one of three finalists nationally for the Lombardi Award and the Lott IMPACT Trophy as well.

The Ted Hendricks Award is annually given to the top defensive end in FBS college football.

Elliss has 12 sacks, three pass breakups and a forced fumble on the season.

Elliss and his Utes teammates will play in the Las Vegas Bowl December 23 at Allegiant Stadium of Paradise, Nev. against Big Ten foe Northwestern.

Ellis was also named as a third-team All-American by the College Football Network. Other Utah collegians to receive All-American status from this publication include
