GARLAND, Utah-Dauson Gardiner led the way with 16 points and the Class 4A Uintah Utes overpowered Gunnison Valley 53-36 during the Bear River Winter Classic Thursday. Tyson Tucker led the Bulldogs in the loss with 17 points.

Shannon Johnson Tournament @ Uintah High School

VERNAL, Utah-Ashley Garner posted 12 points and the Wasatch Wasps pounded Manti 57-24 at the Shannon Johnson Tournament at Uintah High School Thursday. Carlie Thompson and Cadee Alder had 7 points apiece in the loss for the Templars.

Non-Region

PAROWAN, Utah-Tabetha Henrie posted 17 points and the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Parowan 60-21 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Bella Robinson led the Rams in defeat with 13 points.

GUNNISON, Utah-Autumn Anderson led the way with 13 points as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs pounded Maeser 43-15 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Autumn Dossey led the Lions in defeat with 10 points.

NEPHI, Utah-Ava Cuff netted 15 points and the Juab Wasps bested Class 4-A Pine View 43-31 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Reese Gustin’s 10 points led the Panthers in the loss.

BEAVER, Utah-Danzee Brashaw posted 19 points and 7 rebounds and the Beaver Beavers waxed Cedar 45-38 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Gabby Gomez led the Reds in defeat with 17 points.
