GARDEN CITY, Kan.-Donovan Smith threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Jared Wilson in the closing moments and the No. 4 Snow Badgers avoided an upset with a 33-32 win over Garden City (Kan.) Saturday in non-conference play.

Smith completed 24 of 39 passes for 317 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for the Badgers in the narrow victory. Jalen Daniels completed 23 of 33 passes for 290 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the loss for the Broncbusters.

The Badgers will return to action Saturday at Monroe College to conclude the regular season.

The polls for the next week will be released Monday.

Snow Classic

EPHRAIM, Utah-Emily Evans recorded 16 points and 11 rebounds and the Snow Badgers bested Western Wyoming 78-71 Saturday at the Snow Classic. Sierra Eddie posted 16 points in defeat for the Mustangs.
