1A Semifinals @ Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah-Baylor Blackburn recorded two interceptions (a pick six and the game-clinching theft) and  caught a 50-yard touchdown pass as the No. 1 Beaver Beavers outlasted No. 4 Kanab 20-13 Friday in the 1A state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium. Tate Gale added 99 rushing yards and a score in victory for the Beavers. Griffen Bone threw a 37-yard touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Cowboys. Beaver next faces No. 3 Enterprise November 11 at 1:00 pm for a state championship at Southern Utah University.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Brayden Gardner’s 7-yard touchdown run in overtime sealed the deal and the No. 3 Enterprise Wolves outlasted No. 2 Duchesne 18-12 in the 1A state semifinals Friday at Zions Bank Stadium. Jaden Drake (56 yards) and Kyron Bracken (11 yards) also had touchdown runs in the win for the Wolves. Brody Jacobs had scoring runs of one yard and 59 yards in the loss for the Eagles.

8-Player Semifinals @ Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah-The No. 1 Rich Rebels pulverized No. 4 Water Canyon 50-14 in the 8-player semifinals Friday at Zions Bank Stadium. The Rebels next face No. 2 Monticello November 11 at 10:00 am at Eccles Coliseum on the campus of Southern Utah University for the 8-player state championship.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Jay McDonald completed 5 of 8 passes for 97 yards and 2 scores and added a touchdown run as the No. 2 Monticello Buckaroos pounded No. 3 Altamont 43-8 at Zions Bank Stadium Friday in the 8-player semifinals. Ashton Tew ran for a score in the loss for the Longhorns.
