(Orderville, UT) — More than a dozen people are injured, including three in critical condition, after a crash in Kane County yesterday afternoon. It happened on U.S. Highway 89 between Orderville and Mount Carmel Junction. The Utah Highway Patrol says, around 12:40 p.m. a Ford van carrying 14 people crossed the centerline and slammed head-on into a semi tractor trailer that was heading north. A small Hyundai sedan then hit the van. Highway Patrol said three people who were in the van were critically injured and were flown to a hospital. The other eleven and the driver of the Hyundai were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The semi driver was not hospitalized.
