(Gunnison, UT) — An inmate at the Central Utah Correctional Facility has been found dead. According to the Utah Department of Corrections, staff at the facility found 66-year-old Steven Davis unresponsive in his cell Sunday morning. Medical personnel later pronounced him dead. Davis had been in prison since 1983 for sex crimes against a child. The inmate’s death is being investigated by the Utah State Bureau of Investigation. There’s currently no word on how Davis may have died.
