(Zion National Park, UT) — Zion National Park is ready to begin reconstruction of a road that was washed out during this year’s intense spring runoff. In March, Kolob Canyons Road washed away in a landslide park officials said was ten feet deep, 15 feet wide, and 70 feet long. Reconstruction is scheduled to begin next Monday, September 25th with completion sometime this coming winter.
