TROPIC, Utah-The Bryce Valley Mustangs waxed Green River 15-5 Wednesday in 1A South baseball action. Raul Mendoza, Jarrett Guerrera and Jason Hernandez each drove in a run in the loss for the Pirates.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Daxton Miller earned the win on the mound and the Panguitch Bobcats blitzed Valley 13-3 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday.

JUNCTION, Utah-Yates Gleave drove in four runs and the Piute Thunderbirds clobbered Pinnacle 12-2 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Kole Westwood added two more RBI in victory for the Thunderbirds. Kel Blood, Blake Dalton and Jaxon Westwood also drove in a run apiece in the win for the Thunderbirds.

Region 20

PANGUITCH, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats blanked Escalante 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. The Bobcats dismantled the Moquis 25-11, 25-13, 25-9 to earn the straight sets victory.

TROPIC, Utah-The Bryce Valley Mustangs downed Milford 3-0 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The Mustangs prevailed, 25-19, 25-14, 25-21 to obtain the win in straight sets.

JUNCTION, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds outlasted Wayne 3-2 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. Ayla Deakin’s 4 kills led the Badgers in the loss. Piute prevailed 25-22, 20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11.
