In a post to their Facebook page on Aug. 23, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office shared an update in their search for a suspect in an assault that occurred on July 23. In that post they shared, “we have not released an update to this case sooner because unfortunately, there isn’t anything for us to update the public on.” They continued, “the safety of this community is top priority and Beaver County Sheriff’s Office is working diligently to find this subject.” The Sheriff’s Office has multiple detectives and deputies assigned to the case and they are partnering with other local, state and federal agencies. The release askes residents to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings, stating “if you see something, say something, and please do not hesitate to call 911 if you find yourself in an emergency situation.”
