CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons blanked Richfield 3-0 in Region 12 volleyball play Tuesday. The Falcons bested the Wildcats 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.
Non-Region
BEAVER, Utah-The Beaver Beavers drilled Milford 3-0 Tuesday in non-region volleyball action. The Beavers downed the Tigers 25-18, 25-9, 25-22 for the straight sets victory. Tayleah Spaulding’s 6 kills led the Tigers in the loss.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bethanee Vargas posted a pair of goals and the Canyon View Falcons waxed North Sanpete 5-1 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Adelay Stavros scored in the loss for the Hawks.
NEPHI, Utah-Amiah Timothy recorded a hat trick and the Carbon Dinos waxed Juab 4-0 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Fortune Ward posted the shutout for the Dinos.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Taylie Mickelsen netted 5 goals and the Manti Templars pounded Emery 8-0 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer action. Kaylee Parry, Brooklyn Olson and Kinzee Chidester also scored in victory for Manti. Alyssa Whitney posted the shutout for the Templars.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Mylee Jensen and Abby Evensen both scored and the Richfield Wildcats downed Delta 2-0 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Zeze Lafaele recorded the shutout for the Wildcats.
2A South
BEAVER, Utah-The Beaver Beavers clobbered South Sevier 9-3 in 2A South girls soccer play Tuesday. Kennedy Salazar, Lexi Monroe and Kanzas Mills scored in defeat for the Rams.
