(Page, AZ) — The National Park Service is increasing access at Lake Powell for Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday, the Wahweap Main Ramp will open to all motorized vessels and the Stateline Ramp will open to non-motorized vessels. Swimming areas that are open in south Lake Powell include the Lone Rock Primitive Campground and other accessible shorelines. The Park Service announced on Thursday that Lake Powell’s water level is rising more than one foot per day.
