CRESTON, Iowa-Tuesday, former North Sanpete High School volleyball star Emily Strait has signed with Southwestern Community College (Iowa) per a news release.
Strait was the Hawks’ defensive player of the year during the 2022-23 season. She received the Team First Award in 2022 and was North Sanpete’s Most Improved Player during the 2021-22 season.
Strait, a Fountain Green native, is also a skilled academician. She obtained all-Region 14 academic honors while starring for the Hawks in volleyball, basketball and softball.
Strait also served as North Sanpete High School’s student body vice president during the 2022-23 academic year.
