(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is the best state in America. That’s according to U.S. News and World Report’s “Best States” rankings for 2023, released on Tuesday. U.S. News used more than 70 metrics and thousands of data points to rank the 50 states. In addition to Utah’s number-one overall ranking, the Beehive State ranks first in fiscal stability and economy, fourth in infrastructure, sixth in education, seventh and health care, 15th in crime and corrections, and 20th in opportunity.
