Todd Okeson Named As Associate Head Coach For UVU Men’s Basketball Tuesday

OREM, Utah-Tuesday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Todd Phillips named Todd Okeson as the associate head coach of the Wolverines’ program.

Okeson had spent the previous four seasons as a UVU assistant coach.

During his time with the Wolverines, Okeson has helped lead the squad to a 70-51 record, including a net 48 wins over the course of the past two seasons.

Okeson particularly shined in the development of guards Trey Woodbury and Le’Tre Darthard achieving first-team All-WAC and all-district honors in his previous role with the program.

During his coaching career, Okeson has also served as an assistant at Nevada, Hawai’i, Southern Utah and Georgia.

As a collegian, Okeson starred at Nevada. As the Wolf Pack’s starting point guard, he led Nevada to a WAC championship and a Sweet 16 appearance in 2004.
