(Moab, UT) — It may soon cost more to use the trails and campgrounds at Moab’s Sand Flats Recreation Area. The Bureau of Land Management released a proposal to adjust admission prices in order to maintain service and reduce wait times at the park’s entrances. The cost of an annual pass has doubled from 25 dollars to 50 dollars, and camp sites now cost 30 dollars per vehicle, up from 15. Five-dollar day passes will be phased out in favor of a new ten-dollar week-long pass. More info is available on recreation-dot-gov.
