The Utah Department of Natural Resources announced yesterday that snowfall totals in the state have reached 201-percent of normal. That measurement could rise as even more snow is expected to fall due to the current winter storm. The Utah Division of Water Resources says the snowfall has already helped reduce extreme drought across the state. That agency plans to announce how runoff will affect the state’s water supply later this week.
