HURRICANE, Utah-Elian Tortoledo drove in four runs and the Class 5A Mountain View Bruins pounded Richfield 16-1 at the Hurricane Tournament Friday. Sam Tatton recorded six strikeouts in victory for the Bruins to take the win on the mound. Richard Brower had an RBI in defeat for the Wildcats.

Chuckwagon Tournament @ Kanab HS
KANAB, Utah-Jace Sandberg and Brett Darrow homered and the Grantsville Cowboys pounded North Sanpete 12-2 Friday at the Chuckwagon Tournament at Kanab High School. Daxton Webb posted two strikeouts and earned the win on the mound for the Cowboys.
KANAB, Utah-Bryce Boehrer, Haydon Wade, Britton Keisel and Kayson Bailey each drove in a run and the Manti Templars waxed Morgan 6-1 at Kanab High School Friday at the Chuckwagon Tournament. Bailey posted 15 strikeouts in six innings of work for the Templars to earn the win on the mound for Manti.
KANAB, Utah-Kason Maycock, Brady Mecham, Maddux Russell and Payton Verduzco each homered and the Union Cougars pounded Gunnison Valley 14-4 at the Chuckwagon Tournament Friday at Kanab High School. Russell posted four strikeouts to earn the win on the mound for Union. Zack Brackett homered in defeat for the Bulldogs.
KANAB, Utah-Logan Black went yard and the North Sanpete Hawks dismantled Milford 10-4 Friday at Kanab High School during the Chuckwagon Tournament. Bryson Perry posted seven strikeouts for the Hawks in victory to earn the win on the mound for North Sanpete. Kilo Tsosie homered in defeat for the Tigers.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Payton Park drove in a pair of runs and the Juab Wasps humbled Class 6A Cyprus 5-1 Friday at the Summit Tournament at Pine View High School. Cooper Ford and Connor Cowan also drove in a run apiece for the Wasps. Cael Smith’s 7 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work earned him the win on the mound for the Wasps. Easton Anderson drove in a run for the Pirates in the loss.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The Juab Wasps overpowered Carbon 9-4 at Pine View High School during the Summit Tournament Friday.

DELTA, Utah-The Duchesne Eagles downed Delta 10-3 Friday at the Delta Tournament at Delta High School. Dax Bliss drove in a run for the Rabbits in the loss.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Lucy Oldroyd and Madyson Steadman each had an RBI and the North Sanpete Hawks got past Class 5A Tooele 3-2 at the Red Rock Tournament Friday. Paeton Johnson posted 10 strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work for the Hawks to earn the win in the circle.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The Beaver Beavers edged Class 5A Maple Mountain 6-5 Friday at the Red Rock Tournament. Kyla Donegan, Cadence Henry and Bella Ekenstam each drove in a run for the Golden Eagles in defeat.
