RICHFIELD, Utah-Chance Lazenby led the way with 20 points and the No. 4 Tabiona Tigers bested No. 13 Bryce Valley 66-58 in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament Wednesday at Richfield High School. Joel Romo led the Mustangs in defeat with 19 points. Tabiona next faces No. 5 Milford in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 8:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center. Bryce Valley plays No. 12 Whitehorse in the consolation bracket Thursday at 1:00 pm at Richfield High School.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Sadler Barnes posted 20 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds and the No. 5 Milford Tigers pounded No. 12 Whitehorse 87-63 Wednesday at Richfield High School in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament. D’Wayne Nakai’s 27 points led the Raiders in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Tucker Chappell’s 20 points led the way and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats pounded No. 17 Tintic 84-61 at Richfield High School Wednesday in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament. Haygen Jameson had 19 points in the loss for the Miners. The Bobcats next face No. 9 Rich in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Carsen Muirbrook’s 17 points paced No. 9 Rich to a 55-51 win over No. 8 Wayne in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament Wednesday. Ryker Peterson’s 14 points led the Badgers in the loss. Wayne plays Tintic in the consolation bracket Thursday at 2:30 pm at Richfield High School.

Joe Vollmer’s 8 points led the Pirates in defeat. Manila next faces No. 7 Wendover Thursday at 2:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center in the state quarterfinals.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Orlando Alvarez netted 21 points and the No. 7 Wendover Wildcats clobbered No. 10 Pinnacle 69-39 in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament Wednesday. Ryker Howell led the Panthers in the loss with 18 points.

Aaron Barlow’s game-high 14 points led the Wildcats in the loss. Piute next faces No. 6 Valley in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Sevier Valley Center.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Emma Hallows posted 16 points and 10 rebounds on 5-10 from the field and the No. 4 Wayne Badgers surged past No. 13 Whitehorse 57-41 Wednesday in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament at the Sevier Valley Center. Heidi Clark’s 11 points led the Raiders in the loss. Wayne next plays in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 5:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center against Monument Valley.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Shimequa Hudson’s 20 points and 9 rebounds led the way and Alyah Blackwater added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists on 7-12 from the field as the No. 5 Monument Valley Cougars clobbered No. 12 Altamont 73-38 in the 2nd round of the 1A state tournament Wednesday at the Sevier Valley Center.

Elaine Lunsford had 8 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Lions. Rich next faces Panguitch Thursday at 4:00 pm in the state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center.

Bryce Valley will play No. 15 Green River Thursday in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School at 4:00 pm.
