(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox Says Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s call for a “national divorce” is evil. Cox blasted Greene’s proposal yesterday, when the far-right Georgia Republican suggested splitting the union based on party lines. The moderate GOP governor tweeted that Greene’s rhetoric is destructive, wrong, “and – honestly – evil.” Cox wrote that America needs marriage counseling, not a divorce. He said Americans can disagree without hate and that healthy conflict was critical to the nation’s founding and survival.
