(Moab, UT) — Community members in Grand County are mourning the loss of a teen girl who died in a hiking accident this past Friday. A makeshift memorial has been placed at the Moab Rim trailhead in honor of 17-year-old Zoe McKinney. Authorities say Zoe was walking with friends in the area when she suffered fatal injuries after falling from a cliff. A staff member at Grand County High School has launched a fundraiser selling t-shirts dedicated to the memory of the teen, with the proceeds going to support her family.
