Region 12
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Brett Rasmussen posted 20 points and 14 rebounds on 9-10 from the field and the Emery Spartans outlasted the Richfield Wildcats 68-63 in overtime in Region 12 boys basketball play at the Spartan Center. Miles Barnett led the Wildcats in defeat with 20 points.
This game was crucial in the Region 12 standings as Emery improves to 12-4 and 3-1 in Region 12 play. The Wildcats fell to 12-5 and 3-2 in Region 12 play with the loss.
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-Christian Hansen and Kayson Douglas had 14 points apiece and the Manti Templars bested Juab 69-60 in Region 14 boys basketball play Wednesday. Austin Park’s game-high 24 points led the Wasps in defeat.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Alec Labrum and Cooper Berlin each posted 14 points and the Union Cougars got past North Sanpete 63-57 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball play. Keegan Strickland led the Hawks with 15 points in defeat.
Region 16
SALINA, Utah-Jet Hill led the way with 13 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs bested North Sevier 58-48 in Region 16 boys basketball play Wednesday. Kyson Bosshardt had a game-high 17 points in defeat for the Wolves.
Region 20
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Spencer Talbot recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 steals and the Panguitch Bobcats stonewalled Valley 64-46 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball action. MaCoy Harris led the Buffaloes in defeat with 18 points.
TROPIC, Utah-Jaxon Westwood stepped up with 22 points and the Piute Thunderbirds stymied Bryce Valley 45-36 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday. Joel Romo, Zaren Roberts and Randen Leslie had 9 points apiece for the Mustangs in the loss.

MILFORD, Utah-The El Capitan (Ariz.) Eagles edged Milford 53-51 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Trey Rose led the Tigers in the loss with 22 points and 6 rebounds.
DRAPER, Utah-Noah Bendinger posted 26 points, including 6 3-pointers, and the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle pounded Delta 74-32 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Cai Henderson led the Rabbits in defeat with 11 points.
Girls Basketball
Region 19
PAROWAN, Utah-Brooklyn Hulet led the way with 21 points and the Parowan Rams bested South Sevier 60-49 Wednesday in Region 19 girls basketball play. Kanzas Mills and Kinley Jenson had 13 points apiece in the loss for the South Sevier Rams.
KANAB, Utah-Rylee Little posted 17 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys clobbered Enterprise 54-35 in Region 19 girls basketball play Wednesday. Bentlee Rogers had 10 points for the Wolves in defeat.
Non-Region
FREDONIA, Ariz.-The Valley Buffaloes pounded the Fredonia (Ariz.) Lynx 54-25 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball play.
