Snow Women’s Basketball’s Samiana Suguturaga Named SWAC Women’s Player of the Week

EPHRAIM, Utah-Monday, Snow College women’s basketball star sophomore forward Samiana Suguturaga was named the Scenic West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Suguturaga, a former Mountain View High School star out of Orem, Utah, scored a career-high 27 points in the Badgers’ 68-60 win at Salt Lake Community College last Thursday.

Suguturaga is averaging 13.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Badgers on the season.

Snow (8-10; 5-4 in SWAC play) returns to action Thursday at USU-Eastern Utah.
