Rally Urges Lawmakers To Do More To Help Great Salt Lake

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utahns are urging lawmakers to do more to help preserve and restore the Great Salt Lake. Hundreds of protesters rallied at the State Capitol on Saturday to urge more action during the upcoming legislative session. The lake reached historically low water levels last year and advocates fear there will be permanent damage to wildlife habitats if something isn’t done. The 45-day session is set to begin tomorrow.
