Men’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Darren Jones posted 17 points and 11 rebounds on 6-11 from the field as the Southern Nevada Coyotes downed Snow 91-87 in SWAC men’s college basketball play Thursday. The Coyotes shot 57 percent (35-62) for the game. Zach Visentin netted 25 points and 5 rebounds on 11-12 from the field for the Badgers in defeat.

The Coyotes improved to 8-10 and 2-4 in SWAC play. The Badgers fell to 14-6 and 5-3 in league play with the loss.

Women’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Paige Grant led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds on 9-11 from the field and the Southern Nevada Coyotes bested Snow 75-63 Thursday in SWAC women’s college basketball play. Ainsley Thurbur led the Badgers with 12 points on 5-9 from the field in defeat.

The Coyotes shot 58 percent (29-50) for the game in improving to 7-8 and 2-4 in SWAC play. The Badgers fell to 7-10 and 4-4 in the loss.
