(Taylorsville, UT) — The suspect wanted in connection with the death of a Utah Spanish-language radio DJ is in custody in Mexico. Taylorsville Police announced Friday that Manuel Omar Burciaga-Perea has been apprehended in Chihuahua, Mexico. Burciaga-Perea has been wanted by police since last October following the shooting death of Gabriela Castilla. Castilla worked for a Salt Lake-area radio station under the name Gaby Ramos before she was killed. Police say the suspect is currently awaiting extradition to the United States.
