SALT LAKE CITY-Luis Torres homered and added an RBI sacrifice fly as the Tacoma Rainiers blanked Salt Lake 5-0 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark, ending this Pacific Coast League series.

Matthew Boyd posted two strikeouts in one inning of work for Tacoma to take the win on the mound. He is now 1-1 on the season.

With the loss, the Bees and Rainiers now sport identical 57-66 records.

Salt Lake returns to action Tuesday at 6:35 pm to take on the Chihuahuas for a six-game series at El Paso.
