(St. George, UT) — Republican U.S. Senator Mitt Romney has taken a look at what the weather is doing in St. George and how the climate is affecting the community. Romney added he wanted to see first-hand what Utah Tech University is doing and called the university’s vision for the future “very, very impressive.” He said the new name for Utah Tech is a recognition that the school is “increasingly focused on the STEM subjects and developing engineers and chemists and people going into medicine.”
