OGDEN, Utah-Jesus Valdez drove in a pair of runs and the Ogden Raptors edged Northern Colorado 3-2 Tuesday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Brandon McCabe earned the win on the mound for Ogden by posting two strikeouts in one inning of play.

Cameron Phelts and Brandon Crosby each drove in a run in the loss for the Owlz.

The Raptors improved to 42-31 on the season in the win while Northern Colorado fell to 26-43.

The Raptors and the Owlz return to action Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
