(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s attorney general is joining the fight against a federal mask mandate for travelers. AG Sean Reyes’ office says President Biden’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention interstate travel mask mandate exceeds its authority. Reyes’ office also says the requirement infringes on each state’s ability to enact their own public health rules. Utah joins nearly two-dozen other states in filing documents supporting the suit against the mandate.
