SALT LAKE CITY-Isan Diaz homered twice and David Villar also went yard as the Sacramento River Cats dismantled Salt Lake 9-3 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Sean Hjelle earned the win on the mound for the River Cats by posting two strikeouts in five innings of work. Hjelle improved to 5-6 on the season in victory.

Orlando Martinez and Kean Wong each drove in a run in the loss for the Bees.

Sacramento improved to 47-61 on the season while the Bees fell to 51-57.

The series resumes Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
