SALT LAKE CITY-Austin Dean and David Villar each homered and the Sacramento River Cats outlasted Salt Lake 4-3 Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Luis Ortiz earned his first win of the season for Sacramento, improving to 1-3 by recording the victory on the mound.

Jose Gomez and Orlando Martinez homered in the loss for the Bees.

Sacramento improved to 46-61 on the season as the Bees fell to 51-56.

The Bees and River Cats meet again Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
