GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Jordan Fitzpatrick and Casey Petersen homered and the Grand Junction Rockies downed Ogden 8-5 Wednesday at Suplizio Field in Pioneer League play.
Roberto Baldenebro earned the win on the mound for Grand Junction by posting one strikeout in three innings of work for the Rockies. He is now 4-3 on the season for Grand Junction.
Pat Adams homered for the Raptors in the loss.
The Rockies, by virtue of winning the first two games of this series, only trail Ogden by one game in the Pioneer League South standings.
At 35-25, Grand Junction has won 11 of 14 in the second half of the season presently.
The Raptors are now the losers of three straight and at 36-24, are 7-7 in the second half of the season.
The Raptors and Rockies return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Suplizio Field.
