(Murray, UT) — With blood donations down across the country, the American Red Cross is looking for people to donate to avoid a shortage. Heidi Ruster, Utah’s Red Cross CEO, says they’re working to get ahead of a that by encouraging people to donate now while they have free time in the summer and around holidays. Blood donations in Utah are nearly down by 20-percent and Ruster wants to remind people that just one donation can make a difference in helping up to three people.
