(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Department of Transportation is warning divers to be on the lookout for buckling roads as temperatures reach the triple digits. UDOT says crews had to shut down roads at 114th South near Fifth West Sunday night after a concrete panel on the edge of a bridge expanded too much. UDOT urges drivers to call in problems with overheated roads as soon as possible so crews can avoid major repairs as much as possible.
