Cox Talks About Criticism Of Utah’s Drought Response

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Cox is addressing recent criticism of Utah’s response to the ongoing Western drought. The New York Times and comedian John Oliver recently took Utah and the governor to task for failing to curb water usage. Cox said in a tweet yesterday that critics failed to research and report the work Utah has done to address the drought. He mentioned legislative action to address water conservation and preserve the Great Salt Lake, as well as measures to help farmers convert to more efficient forms of watering.
